La La Anthony was born on June 25, 1979 in Brooklyn, New York. She came to prominence in the early 2000s when she became an MTV VJ on Total Request Live.
After her stint on Total Request Live, she hosted Direct Effect from 2002 to 2006. She also ventured into acting, appearing in various shows such as Sex and the City, One on One, Flavor of Love, and many others.
Her film debut was in Two Can Play That Game. She has since starred in other movies including You Got Served, Soul Plane, Think Like a Man, Baggage Claim and Think Like a Man Too.
