Lacey Turner was born on March 28, 1988 in Barnet, Greater London, United Kingdom. She has loved acting since she was a child. By the time she was 10, she attended Sylvia Young Theatre School. She then started her acting experience on stage and commercials. Her breakthrough on television came in 2004.

This was after she landed the role of Stacey Slater on the popular UK show EastEnders. She plays the role until present. She has also appeared on the TV series Being Human. She also starred on the TV film Frankenstein’s Wedding… Live in Leeds. She had lead roles on Bedlam and Switch. Her lead role on the TV series Our Girl made her more popular.
