Biography:

Laia Costa was born on 18 February 1985 in Barcelona, Spain. She attended the Blanquerna-Ramon Llull University where she completed a degree in advertising, marketing and public relations. She started her acting career in 2011. She debuted starring in the Spanish series Bandolera. She next made her film debut in Tengo ganas de ti.

In 2015, she gained substantial attention for her lead role in the German film Victoria. That same year, she starred in the Spanish movie Palmeras en la nieva. She went on to pursue a career in the US, debuting in the 2017 romantic film Newness. Subsequently, she starred in the American movies Piercing, Duck Butter, and Life Itself.
