Biography:

Lakshmi Manchu was born on October 8, 1977 in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. She attended Oklahoma City University where she graduated with a degree in Theater. Her acting career began with her debut in the English-language short film Perfect Lives.

She then appeared in such movies as The Ode and Dead Air. She has also acted in some well known American television series like Las Vegas, Desperate Housewives, Boston Legal and Mystery ER.

In 2011, she became known for her role as Irendri in the Telugu film Anaganaga O Dheerudu, for which she was nominated for a Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actress and won the Nandi Award for Best Villain.
