Biography:
Lara Jean Chorostecki was born on September 24, 1984, in Brampton, Ontario, Canada. It all started in 2004 when she made her acting debut in an episode of the show Doc. After this, she appeared in an episode of the series 72 Hours: True Crime. This was then followed by a performance on the TV film Roxy Hunter and the Mystery of the Moody Ghost. Her first recurring part on television was as Maya on the Canadian series The Listener.
She later played Charlie on the show Dan for Mayor. In 2010, she portrayed Ann Eliza Young on the TV movie The 19th Wife, followed by her recurring role as Bridget on the show Camelot. From 2012 to 2013, she starred as Sybil O’Brien on the show Copper. It was also during this period that she started her film career with her first work in Antiviral. That same period, she also acted in the movie Please Kill Mr. Know It All. From 2013 to 2015, she became widely known for starring as Fredricka “Freddie” Lounds on Hannibal.
