Biography:
Lara Pulver was born on 1 September 1980 in Southend-on-Sea, Essex, England. During her teens, she attended the National Youth Music Theatre. She continued her acting training when she enrolled at the Doreen Bird College of Performing Arts where she finished her studies in 2000. Prior to her career on the screen, she started performing on stage productions. In 2009, she made her television debut playing the role of Isabella on the British series Robin Hood.
She next made her big screen debut in the film Legacy, as well as played recurring role Claudine Crane on the HBO series True Blood. She next starred as Erin Watts on the British series Spooks. She later portrayed Irene Adler on Sherlock and starred as Clarice Orsini on Da Vinci’s Demons from 2013 to 2015. She simultaneously played Ann O’Neill on Fleming: The Man Who Would Be Bond. Her latest film roles were in A Patch of Fog and Underworld: Blood Wars.
