Biography:

Larisa Oleynik was born on June 7, 1981 in Santa Clara County, California, U.S. At the age of eight, she appeared in a Broadway production of Les Misérables in San Francisco after seeing an audition ad in a newspaper.

In 1993, at the age of 12, she made her television debut in an episode of the series Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman. The following year, she made her breakthrough as the title character in the series The Secret World of Alex Mack.

She then went on to gain further fame for her appearances in film, such as playing one of the lead roles in the feature The Baby-Sitters Club and for her portrayal of Bianca Stratford in 10 Things I Hate About You.
