Larry Pine is an American actor whose career began in the 1970s. His first notable role on television was as Tad Channing in the soap opera As the World Turns. He later became known for starring as Roger Gordon in One Life to Live. During the 1980s, Pine also had performances in such films as Q, Alone in the Dark, and The Dream Team. In 1994, he starred in the movie Vanya on 42nd Street, which earned him an Independent Spirit nomination. He later played supporting roles in the films Dead Man Walking, The Ice Storm, and Celebrity. Recently, he played Burton Delaney in CBS’ Hostages and Bob Birch in Netflix’s House of Cards. He recently played Mayor Burke in Gotham and Sandy Furness in Succession.
