Biography:

Laura Allen was born on March 21, 1974 in Portland, Oregon, USA. She attended Wellesley College where she graduated with a degree in Sociology in 1996. She first worked at the NYPD as a domestic violence counselor before she pursued acting.

Her first television appearance was as Jennifer in an episode of the series The $treet. In 2000, she gained notice for her role as Laura English in All My Children. She also became known as Lily Tyler in the series The 4400.

She has also starred in a number of films including Mona Lisa Smile, From Within, The Collective and Old Dogs.
