Laura Bell Bundy was born on April 10, 1981 in Lexington, KY, U.S. She gained fame as a singer who has performed multiple Broadway roles. She played the original Amber Von Tussle in Hairspray and Elle Woods in the musical version of Legally Blonde.

She then secured a recording deal with Mercury Records Nashville, releasing her first country music song “Giddy On Up”, which debuted on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart at No. 60.

She went on to release her second album Achin’ and Shakin’ on April 13, 2010 where it peaked at No. 5 on Billboard Top Country Albums chart.
