Laura Breckenridge was born on August 22, 1983 in Flourtown, Pennsylvania, U.S.. She is a trained ballet dancer who studied at the School of American Ballet in New York City, as well as at the Royal Ballet in London. During her teens, she pursued an acting career. She made her debut in the film Went to Coney Island on a Mission from God… Be Back by Five.

She returned in the 2000s, this time more active. Her first significant role on television was on the comedy-drama series Related. In 2009, she appeared in 3 episodes of Gossip Girl as Rachel Carr. She next starred on the TV movie A Christmas Kiss. In the 2010s, she mostly had guest appearances such as on The Mob Doctor, Blue Bloods, Grey’s Anatomy and Criminal Minds.
