Biography:

Laura Whitmore was born on May 4, 1985 in Bray, County Wicklow, Ireland. She attended Dublin University where she took Journalism. In 2008, she competed in MTV Networks Europe’s campaign Pick Me MTV and succeeded in becoming the face of MTV News in MTV Europe.

She gained wider recognition among television viewers as she became the new presenter of I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! NOW! In 2012, she carried the 2012 Summer Olympics torch and subsequently appeared in the show Saturday Night with Miriam.

She currently hosts news bulletins for MTV in Ireland and is usually seen hosting special events in Ireland and in some parts of Europe for MTV News.
