Lauren Tom is an American actress. She started acting during the early 1980s, debuting in the TV series The Facts of Life. Later in 1984, she had her first movie role in Nothing Lasts Forever. She went on to appear in the film See No Evil, Hear No Evil. In the 1990s, she became known for her roles as Julie in the sitcom Friends and Dot in Grace Under Fire. She was also the voice of Connie and Minh in the animated series King of the Hill, which she starred in between 1997 and 2010. In addition, Tom had performances in the feature films The Joy Luck Club, When a Man Loves a Woman and Bad Santa. She’s also best known for voicing Amy Wong in Futurama. Also recently, she starred as Celia Mack in the Disney series Andi Mack.
