Biography:

Lee Pace was born on March 25, 1979 in Chickasha, Oklahoma, U.S. He attended Juilliard School where he graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. He made his TV debut in an episode of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit in 2002.

The following year, he starred as Calpernia Adams in the television movie Soldier’s Girl, for which he won the Gotham Award for Breakthrough Actor and was nominated for the Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actor in a Television Film.

He has since starred in mainstream features including The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2, Lincoln, and played Thranduil in The Hobbit film installments.
