Leona Lewis was born on April 3, 1985 in Islington, London, England. She first shot to fame after winning the third series of the reality show The X Factor in 2006.

The following year, she released her debut album entitled Spirit. It has sold over eight million copies worldwide. The album’s best selling track, “Bleeding Love” peaked at No. 1 in over 30 countries. It became the best-selling single worldwide in 2008.
