Lewis Tan is a British-born Chinese actor. He started his career as a stunt double, first working in the film The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift. That same time, he appeared with a small role in the movie Mini’s First Time. He then had his first television appearance in an episode of CSI: NY. Later, he appeared in the film Red Velvet. In the 2010s, Tan did stunts for the films Olympus Has Fallen and The Hangover Part III. At the same time, he had one-time roles in the TV shows NCIS: Los Angeles, CSI: Miami, and The Protector. The actor became known for his role as Kung Jin in Mortal Kombat X: Generations and Mortal Kombat: Legacy. More recently, he played recurring character Gaius Chau in AMC’s Into the Badlands. He also played Lu Xin Lee in Netflix’s new series Wu Assassins. Back in the movies, he played Gaveedra-Seven / Shatterstar in Deadpool 2.
