Liam Hemsworth was born on January 13, 1990 in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. He started his acting career in 2007 when he landed guest spots in TV shows like Home and Away and McLeod’s Daughters.

He then secured the role of Josh Taylor in the Australian soap Neighbors, and went on to make his film debut in the 2009 movie Knowing.

He gained wider recognition for his roles in the 2010 film The Last Song and the 2012 film The Hunger Games. He has since appeared in such movies as The Expendables 2, Love and Honor, Paranoia and Empire State.
