Biography:
Liev Schreiber was born on October 4, 1967 in San Francisco, California. She was school mate with future actress Amanda Peet at the Friends Seminary. He started his acting studies at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. In 1992, he completed his master’s degree from Yale School of Drama. He also further his acting training at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. He intended to be a screenwriter, but became an actor instead.
His initial acting career consisted of roles in indie movies. His first mainstream role was as Cotton Weary in Wes Craven’s Scream. He reprised the role in Scream 2 and Scream 3. He became more well-known in the 2000s with supporting to starring parts in Hamlet, The Sum of All Fears, The Manchurian Candidate, The Omen, and Defiance. He then portrayed Victor Creed/Sabretooth in X-Men Origins: Wolverine. Being active up to present, he’s starred in The Butler, Spotlight, and Creed.
