Lili Reinhart was born on September 13, 1996 in Cleveland, Ohio, U.S.. During her early teens, she became active in community theater. She started her professional acting debut in 2010. Her first acting job was in a short film. She then made her TV debut in an episode of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. Her first recurring role was on the TV series Surviving Jack.

She has also appeared in a number of feature films. This includes Not Waving But Drowning, The Kings of Summer, Forever’s End, Miss Stevens, and The Good Neighbor. She gained mainstream recognition after landing the role of Betty Cooper on The CW series Riverdale.
