Biography:

Lily Allen was born on May 2, 1985 in Hammersmith, London, England. She is the daughter of actor Keith Allen and film producer Alison Owen. She first came to prominence after the release of the single “Smile”.

The single became her first mainstream success and topped the UK Singles Chart in July 2006. She went on to release her debut record, “Alright, Still”, which was also well-received.

It sold 2.6 million copies worldwide. She also garnered Grammy Awards, BRIT Awards and MTV Video Music Awards nominations. She then released her second album, It’s Not Me, It’s You, which debuted at No. 1 on the UK Albums Chart
