Lily Cole first came to prominence as a model in the 2000s. She was only 16 when graced the cover of British Vogue. At the 2004 British Fashion Awards, Cole was named “Model of the Year”. At the height of her career, she worked with high-profile designers, including Alexander McQueen, Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Jean Paul Gaultier, and Moschino. She’s also been featured in advertising campaigns for Longchamp and Anna Sui. Ultimately, she ventured into acting — debuting in the 2007 British film St. Trinians.
She next appeared in the movie Rage. That same time, she starred as Valentina in the fantasy film The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus. In the 2010s, she had performances in the movies There Be Dragons, The Moth Diaries, Confession of a Child of the Century, and Snow White and the Huntsman. She also guest-starred in an episode of Doctor Who. In 2015, she played the role of Emma in the British film The Messenger, as well as appeared in the movie Gravy.
The following year, she appeared as herself in Absolutely Fabulous: The Movie. Furthering her career on TV, she played the title role in the miniseries Elizabeth I. More recently, she played Lovey in the Hollywood film Star Wars: The Last Jedi and appeared as Trish Shirt in London Fields. In addition, Cole has appeared in some music videos, including the music video for Paul McCartney’s single “Queenie Eye”.
The 32-year-old actress maintains a healthy figure thanks to her clean diet plan and active lifestyle. While she admits that she doesn’t work out as regularly as possible, she does the simplest physical activities to make up for it. Nonetheless, she tries to exercise when she can. “I don’t work out as regularly as I should. I do work out and do essentrics. I really like that a lot,” said the actress-model.
