Linda Cardellini was born on June 25, 1975 in Redwood City, California, U.S. She started acting when she performed in several school productions and began attending drama lessons.

In 1996, she got her first break when she played the role of Sarah in the ABC children’s series Bone Chillers. She followed this with more appearances in such TV shows as Step by Step, Clueless and Boy Meets World.

She then rose to fame after being cast as Lindsay Weir in the television series Freaks and Geeks. In addition, her film work includes Legally Blonde, Scooby-Doo and Brokeback Mountain, among others.
