Biography:
Linda Hamilton was born on September 26, 1956 in Salisbury, Maryland, USA. She moved to New York to attend acting classes and attended acting workshops given by Lee Strasberg.
Her first major television role was as Lisa Rogers in the prime-time soap opera Secrets of Midland Heights in 1980. She then made her film debut in TAG:The Assassination Game in 1982.
Her breakthrough role was as Sarah Connor in The Terminator co-starring Arnold Schwarzenegger and Michael Biehn in 1984. The movie became a commercial and critical success and instantly catapulted her to stardom.
