The 35-year-old actress stays in shape by being active. She exercises regularly and keeps her body moving all the time. She doesn’t allow herself to settle into a sedentary lifestyle because she understands the health consequences this can bring. She stays active not just for the sake of staying slim, but also for staying fit, strong, and healthy overall. Her work on television also allows her to move a lot. Every time she has a new role, she trains hard to prepare her body.
She said in an interview: “I love starting my day with a trail run in Elysian Park or a long walk with my dog, Mars. I prefer to run outdoors because I can just put on my running shoes, grab my headphones and go. I love being able to watch the sunrise.” She added: “While preparing for my role as Roseanna in the upcoming miniseries Hatfields & McCoys, I took several weeks of horseback riding lessons. It has quickly become one of my favorite ways to de-stress and get some fresh air in Los Angeles.”
