Biography:
Lisa Kudrow was born on July 30, 1963 in Encino, California. She graduated from Vassar College in Poughkeepsie, New York with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychobiology.
She originally wanted to pursue a career in research but decided to try acting at the urging of his brother’s friend, comedian Jon Lovitz.
After minor comedic stints in a number of sitcoms, she made her breakthrough as Phoebe Buffay on the NBC sitcom Friends. For her role as Phoebe, she won the 1998 Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series.
