Biography:

Liu Yifei was born on August 25, 1987 in Wuhan, Hubei, China. She was accepted at the Performance Institute of Beijing Film Academy when she was 15 and graduated in 2006.

In 2002, she made her television debut with her role as Bai Xiuzhu in The Story of a Noble Family. She was later cast as Wang Yuyan in Demi-Gods and Semi-Devils.

She then made her feature film debut in 2004 with Love of May. She gained wider recognition after being cast as Golden Sparrow in the film The Forbidden Kingdom alongside Jet Li and Jackie Chan.
