Biography:
Louise Bourgoin was born on November 28, 1981 in Vannes, Morbihan, Brittany, France. She attended École des Beaux-Arts in Rennes where she studied for five years. She became a plastic arts teacher while starting to work as a model simultaneously.
In 2007, she was offered a part in the film The Girl from Monaco, which marked her big screen debut. She then starred as Adèle Blanc-Sec in The Extraordinary Adventures of Adèle Blanc-Sec, for which she received a Cesar Award nomination for Most Promising Actress.
She has since starred in other movies including Black Heaven, La Religieuse, the British film The Love Punch and Going Away.
