Biography:

Lucas Grabeel was born on November 23, 1984 in Springfield, Missouri, U.S.. After completing his studies, he moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in acting. His screen debut was in the 2004 TV movie Halloweentown High as Ethan Dalloway. He went on to reprise his role as Ethan in the 2006 sequel Return to Halloweentown.

He then received widespread recognition for his role as Ryan Evans in the Disney TV film High School Musical. He has since starred in the film’s subsequent sequels High School Musical 2 and High School Musical 3: Senior Year. In 2008, he gained further notice as an actor for portraying Danny Nicoletta in Milk. Since 2011, he’s been starring as Toby Kennish on the television series Switched at Birth.
