Biography:
Lucy Boynton was born on July 11, 1994 in New York City, U.S.. She began acting as a child, playing the young Beatrix Potter in the British-American film Miss Potter released in 2006. She was acclaimed for her performance, which earned her a Young Artist Award nomination for Best Performance in a Feature Film – Supporting Young Actress.
Her next role came the following year with the TV film Ballet Shoes. She then played Margaret Dashwood in the miniseries Sense and Sensibility. In 2013, she appeared in the films 400 Boys and Copperhead. Additionally, she had played guest roles on the TV shows Law & Order: UK and Endeavour. Her first role in an American movie was in February released in 2015.
