Lucy Boynton recently gained attention for her latest performances both on TV and film. Prior to her current success, she first debuted as the Young Beatrix Potter in Miss Potter. She next played the part of Posy Fossil in the television movie Ballet Shoes. She also got the part of Margaret Dashwood in the miniseries Sense & Sensibility. Continuing her work on the small screen, she landed guest roles in such television shows as Lewis, Borgia, Endeavour, and Law & Order: UK.
Then she focused her work more in the movies, working in the feature Copperhead, which was released in 2013. Her next acting performance was in the miniseries Life in Squares and simultaneously starring in the movie The Blackcoat’s Daughter. Her career flourished in 2016, starring in such movies as Sing Street, I Am the Pretty Thing That Lives in the House and Don’t Knock Twice. In 2017, she played Claire Douglas in the movie adaptation of Rebel in the Rye.
Boynton went on to star as Allison Adams in the Netflix series Gypsy, as well as performed in the features Let Me Go and Murder on the Orient Express. The actress came to wider prominence for starring as Mary Austin in 2018’s Bohemian Rhapsody. She’s been starring as Astrid Sloan in the comedy-drama series The Politician since 2019.
The Lucy Boynton workout routine is nothing rigorous. However, it doesn’t mean that she doesn’t care about her fitness. It only means that she’d rather do something for fun instead of feeling pressured to work out. “I rather loathe any exercise that feels like exercise. Instead, I take ballet classes whenever I can. It’s bloody hard work, but I like that the purpose and focus is improvement of a skill,” said the actress.
