Luis Guzmán is a Puerto Rican actor. His acting career first became active during the ’80s. The following decade, he became further known for his performances both in movies and television. He’s had roles in the films Carlito’s Way, Boogie Nights, Out of Sight, and The Bone Collector. In the 2000s, he had supporting roles in the movies Traffic, Punch-Drunk Love, Anger Management, Dumb and Dumberer: When Harry Met Lloyd, and many others. He also played Raoul “El Cid” Hernandez on the TV series Oz. He then starred as the lead on the short-lived sitcom Luis. He next played Ramon on the show John from Cincinnati. From 2010 to 2011, he starred as Rene Calderon on HBO’s How to Make It in America. More recently, he starred as Jesse Sallander on Code Black and José Gonzalo Rodríguez Gacha on Narcos.
