Biography:

Lynn Collins was born on May 16, 1977 in Houston, Texas, USA. She attended the Juilliard School’s Drama Division where she graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree.

She made her television debut in 1999, with an appearance in an episode of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. She went on to star onstage as Ophelia in Hamlet, followed by a turn as Juliet in Romeo and Juliet.

In 2004, she gained notice in the film The Merchant of Venice, playing Portia, and starring opposite Al Pacino, Joseph Fiennes and Jeremy Irons.
