Ma Dong-Seok is a South Korean actor. He started his professional career in 2005, debuting in the film Heaven’s Soldiers. He next had roles in such South Korean films as The Moonlight of Seoul, The Good, the Bad, the Weird, and Take Off. In the 2010s, the actor’s career became more prolific. He’s since established his career in his country, starring in several box-office hits. His most notable works during this period were in the films The Neighbor, Squad 38, Familyhood. He became further known for his starring role in 2016’s Train to Busan, which also performed successfully abroad. In 2015, he made his Hollywood debut with a small role in an episode of Netflix’s Sense8. He’ll play Gilgamesh in the 2020 upcoming film The Eternals.
