Biography:

Mackenzie Davis was born in 1987 in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Her professional acting career began in 2012 after making her theatrical debut in the film Smashed. The following year, she received critical praise for her performance in The F Word (released as What If internationally), for which she has earned a Canadian Screen Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress.

Following this, she has appeared in a few more films that same year: Bad Turn Worse and Breathe In. She next starred as Chelsea in the romantic comedy film That Awkward Moment, garnering her further recognition. She will also star in the 2015 upcoming feature film The Martian.
