Biography:

Maisie Williams was born on April 15, 1997 in Bristol, England. Raised in Somerset, she attended Bath Dance College to study Performing Arts. In 2011, she shot to worldwide fame for her portrayal of Arya Stark in Game of Thrones. Her performance in the show received critical praise that HBO recommended her to be considered for the Supporting Actress category for the Primetime Emmy Awards in 2012.

Though she did not earn a nomination from the Emmys, she still got other nominations like the Young Artist Award for Best Performance in a TV Series – Supporting Young Actress. Outside Game of Thrones, she has appeared in a few other shows such as in The Secret of Crickley Hall where she played the role of Loren Caleigh in 2012. She has also recently appeared as the lead star in the TV movie Cyberbully and will star in the upcoming feature The Falling.
