Biography:

Maitland Ward was born on February 3, 1977 in Long Beach, California. She attended New York University to study screenwriting. In 1994, she made her television debut. This was as Jessica Forrester in the soap opera The Bold and the Beautiful where she had a recurring part until 1996. Afterward, she starred in the made-for-television movie Killing Mr. Griffin.

She then gained wider recognition courtesy of her role as Rachel McGuire in the television series Boy Meets World.
She was on the show from 1998 to 2000. Simultaneously, she made her first film appearance in A Bold Affair. She later starred in the straight-to-video film Dish Dogs. In 2004, she appeared as Brittany Wilson in the comedy film White Chicks.
