Biography:

Mamta Mohandas was born on November 14, 1985 in Manama, Bahrain. She began her career in the entertainment industry as a model, appearing in ad campaigns for brands like IBM and Kalyan Kendra. She has also walked the runway for Mysore Maharajah and Raymonds.

She made her acting debut in the 2005 Malayalam film Mayookham, for which she gained some notice for her performance. She has since appeared in such films as Bus Conductor, Adbutham, Lanka, and Madhuchandralekha.

In 2009, she starred in the Malayalam film Passenger. For her work, she earned her first Filmfare nomination for Best Actress.
