Biography:
Manish Dayal was born on June 17, 1983, in Orangeburg, South Carolina, US. He attended George Washington University where he completed his degree in 2005, after which he relocated to New York to become an actor. He eventually moved to Los Angeles. The following year, he debuted on the TV movie Break the Addiction: An Inconvenient Truth. At the same time, he made his film debut in the Indian feature Indian Beauty.
In the 2010s, he had a small role in the movie The Sorcerer’s Apprentice. He also starred in the independent film Walkaway. His first notable role on television was as Raj Kher on 90210. He later had one-time roles on Switched at Birth, The Good Wife, and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. In 2016, he had a recurring role as Ryan Ray on Halt and Catch Fire. He also played Vijay Nadeer in 3 episodes of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. As of 2018, he stars as Dr. Devon Pravesh on The Resident.
