Biography:

Marcia Cross was born on March 25, 1962 in Marlborough, Massachusetts, United States. She attended Juilliard on a scholarship and finished her BFA in Acting in 1984. That same year, she made her debut on the soap opera The Edge of Night. She then became known for her role as Kate Sanders on One Life to Live.

In the 1990s, she became known for her role as Victoria Broyelard on Knots Landing and as Kimberly Shaw on Melrose Place. She achieved further success in the 2000s for starring as Bree Van de Kamp on Desperate Housewives. For her work here, she got Primetime Emmy and Golden Globe nominations. As of 2015, she stars as Claire Haas on the television series Quantico. She’s also played a supporting role in the 2011 movie Bringing Up Bobby.
