Hollywood star Margaret Qualley had her career beginnings in 2013. She had her first movie role as Raquel in the American drama film Palo Alto. Shortly after, she landed the role of Jill Garvey in the HBO series The Leftovers. She starred on the said show from 2014 to 2017, which earned her wider recognition.
While starring on the TV series, she also starred in the feature film The Nice Guys. She next starred in the movies Novitiate and The Vanishing of Sidney Hall, as well as portrayed Mia Sutton / Kira in the supernatural thriller film Death Note. In 2018, she appeared as herself in the television special Asesinato en el Hormiguero Express. That same year, she also appeared in the film Donnybrook.
More recently, she portrayed Ann Reinking in the biographical miniseries Fosse/Verdon. For her performance, she was nominated for a Primetime Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actress. She also recently starred in several films released in 2019. These films are Native Son, Io, Adam, Strange but True, and Seberg. Qualley also played the role of Pussycat in Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. She’ll star as Joanna in the upcoming film My Salinger Year.
Margaret Qualley admits to living an unhealthy lifestyle in the previous years, which came along with modeling. “With modelling, there’s nothing to work on other than losing weight. I definitely had an eating disorder,” said the actress. She has since learned to practice a healthier eating habit, not focusing on shedding pounds but rather on improving her well-being.
For this reason, Qualley mostly eats whole grains, fiber-rich foods like fruits and veggies, and some proteins. She eats lots of fish or chicken with vegetables on the side for her meals. In between these meals, she relies on healthy snacks like almonds, blueberries, yogurts, and smoothies, among others, to keep herself full.
