Maria Sten is a Danish actress and filmmaker. In 2008, she won the Miss Denmark Universe title. In the 2000s, she pursued an acting career, debuting in an episode of the US TV series The Doctors. She next appeared in the miniseries Eros.Emmanuel and Me, after which she made one-time roles in Celebrity Crime Files and Out the Box. In 2015, she made her cinematic debut with a small role in Straight Outta Compton. She went on to appear in several short films, some of which she wrote, directed, and produced. In 2018, she starred as Jillian Hope Hodgson on the Syfy series Channel Zero: The Dream Door. This year, she played Liz Tremayne in the short-lived series Swamp Thing.
