Hollywood actress Mariana Klaveno got her start in the mid-2000s when she debuted on the direct-to-video film Gamebox 1.0. Around the same time, she made her first television appearance on Good Girls Don’t. She went on to have guest roles on such shows as In Justice, Alias, Standoff, K-Ville, and ER. During this period, she also starred on the TV films Though None Go with Me, While the Children Sleep, and Final Approach. Her first notable role was as Lorena Krasiki on the HBO series True Blood.
Following this, she resumed to making guest appearances on the television programs Hawaii Five-0, Criminal Minds: Suspect Behavior, and Dexter. She next starred on the TV movie Innocent. She later became further known for starring as Peri Westmore on the ABC series Devious Maids. Subsequently, she starred as Detective Janice Lawrence on the short-lived CBS series Stalker. Her latest role on television was as Brooke Mathison on the ABC series Designated Survivor. Additionally, she has also starred in the 2017 film Aftermath.
The 39-year-old actress stays in shape by following a healthy diet plan. She makes sure that she eats a clean and a well-rounded meal most of the time. Basically, she also avoids processed foods as these make her lethargic, which is a no-no in the business she’s in. On the other hand, she loves food – just mostly the healthy ones though. In an interview, she even gushed about her love of cooking. She also mentioned about how her Stalker co-star Maggie Q had influenced her to become healthier in terms of her eating habits. She said: “Maggie Q has one of the cleanest diets of anyone I’ve ever met, so I’m excited to try and venture into gluten-free vegan and exploring healthier options. I also love putting on music and getting lost in my kitchen cooking.”
