Biography:

Marie Avgeropoulos was born on June 17, 1986 in Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada. She began playing drums when she was 16. She then studied Broadcast Journalism for two years.

She was discovered when she attended a casting call in Vancouver which happened to be looking for drummers. She caught the attention of an agent, leading to national commercials.

She then caught the eye of director Chris Columbus who hired her in her first film role as Valli Wooley in I Love You, Beth Cooper.

She also had guest appearances in television shows such as Supernatural, Harper’s Island and The Guard, among others.
