Biography:
Mario Lopez was born on October 10, 1973 in Chula Vista, California, U.S.. In 1984, he started his acting career on the TV show a.k.a. Pablo. After this, he joined the main cast of Kids Incorporated. From 1989 to 1993, he became further known for his role as A.C. Slater on Saved by the Bell. He reprised his role on Saved by the Bell: The College Years, which aired from 1993 to 1994.
He then ventured into hosting, starting with the show Masters of the Maze in 1996. The following year, he portrayed Greg Louganis on the TV film Breaking the Surface: The Greg Louganis Story. From 2001 to 2003, he hosted The Other Half. He was also the host of Pet Star. After this, he had a recurring role as Dr. Mike Hamoui on Nip/Tuck. From 2008 to 2012, he was the host of America’s Best Dance Crew. He’s now a host on the entertainment program Extra since 2008.
