Biography:
Marion Cotillard was born on September 30, 1975 in Paris, France. She made her acting debut as a child in one of her father’s plays. She studied drama at the Conservatoire d’Art Dramatique.
Her first prominent role was Lily Bertineau in Taxi, a role she reprised in two more sequels. Her breakthrough in France came when she starred in Love Me If You Dare.
Her first Hollywood movie was Tim Burton’s Big Fish. In 2007, she received international recognition for her portrayal of Edith Piaf in La Vie en Rose. The role won her an Academy Award for Best Actress.
