Biography:

Marley Shelton was born on April 12, 1974 in Los Angeles, California. She attended the University of California in Los Angeles where she majored in film and theatre. She, however, dropped out after she got a role in the kiddie film Warriors of Virtue.

She made her first film role as Amanda in the 1991 movie Grand Canyon. She subsequently starred in other films, including The Sandlot and Nixon.

Her breakthrough came in 1998 when she portrayed Margaret in the fantasy comedy Pleasantville. In 2000, she made her first starring role in the film Sugar & Spice.
