Biography:
Mary-Louise Parker was born on August 2, 1964 in Fort Jackson, North Carolina, USA. She majored in drama at the North Carolina School of the Arts.
Her career started when she landed a small part in the soap opera Ryan’s Hope. She then moved to New York and made her Broadway debut in a 1990 production of Prelude to a Kiss.
From 2005 to 2012, she played Nancy Botwin in the television series Weeds, for which she earned various nominations and awards. In 2006, she received the Golden Globe Award for Best Actress.
