Biography:

Maryam Zakaria was born on September 27, 1984 in Tehran, Iran. She had lived in Sweden where she worked as a model and a dance teacher. While there, she established a Bollywood Dance School called The Indisk Dans Studio.

In 2009, she moved to Mumbai, India to begin a career in Bollywood. She first worked as a model, appearing in multiple television commercials for such companies as Set Wet, Layz and Coke.

She then made her screen debut in the 2009 Bollywood film Paying Guests where she had a special appearance. The following year, she did an item number in Sundar C.’s directorial Tamil movie Nagaram.
