Mathew Baynton is an English actor. He started his career in the late 2000s, debuting in the TV series Learners. He later played Deano in the British sitcom Gavin & Stacey. During this period, he made his cinematic debut playing Ritchie Blackmore in the 2008 film Telstar. Baynton then became known for his works in the sketch comedy shows The Armstrong & Miller Show and Horrible Histories. From 2010 to 2012, he also played Simon in the sitcom Peep Show. He has since become known for his work in television comedies. He starred as Chris Pitt-Goddard in Spy and Sam Pinkett in The Wrong Mans.
