Matt Dillon was born on February 18, 1964 in New Rochelle, New York, U.S.. His movie debut was in 1979 with the movie Over the Hedge. In the 1980s, he launched a mainstream career with starring roles in some well-known films, including My Bodyguard, Rumble Fish, Tex, and many others. Continuing his success as a movie star, he became further known in the 1990s for his starring performances in To Die For, Beautiful Girls, There’s Something About Mary and Wild Things. Being a versatile actor, he also starred in the drama film Crash and comedy feature You, Me and Dupree in the 2000s. He currently stars on the TV show Wayward Pines.
